Vapoura | Craft Film | Cinematic Brand Film | Director of Photography, Editor and Colourist

A cinematic brand film exploring the craft and premium process behind Vapoura’s spiced rum, from the ingredients that shape its flavour to the distilling process itself.

Working as Director of Photography, Editor and Colourist, I led a compact production team comprising a 1st AC and B-camera operator. We shot across one day on location in Cornwall using Sony FX6 and FX3 cameras paired with a Leica R-series lens set.

The visual approach was designed to feel dramatic and cinematic while retaining the warmth and refinement expected of a premium spirits brand. A macro lens was used to capture detailed, tactile imagery of the ingredients and distilling process, complementing interviews with Vapoura’s founders and master distiller.

I carried the film through post-production, editing and grading the final piece to maintain a cohesive visual language from the initial shoot through to delivery.
