Short film to promote independent clothing brand Challidan’s debut collection. Inspired by 90’s rave culture, especially in Asia.

I decided to lens the film with vintage glass and keep our blacks crushed to help romanticise the feeling of being in a dark nightclub. Additionally our flickering light design and grainy image helped the director achieve a grungy, modern vintage look that enabled the collection to pop and Challidan to be introduced with a BANG. Shot on Sony FX9 with Carl Zeiss Jena lenses.
